The Friends of CV Link (FCVL) is a 501.C(3) non-profit organization that encourages a healthy lifestyle and environment by promoting and enhancing the CV Link multi-use transportation route, a CVAG initiative to build a safe, road-separated, low-emission, path along the Whitewater River Channel that connects all Coachella Valley communities.
Residents and visitors of all ages and abilities, including those with physical disabilities, use the CV Link as an alternative to bicycle, walk, jog, and use low-speed electric vehicles (LSEV). This off-street paved path connects all the cities of the Coachella Valley. CV Link provides a route for sustainable transportation to schools, stores, restaurants, workplaces, parks, and natural areas. CV Link enables a cleaner, healthier and more prosperous Coachella Valley from Palm Springs to the Salton Sea – car free.
